Grüezi! Bonjour! Hello! Kumusta!

You’ve landed on our Swiss-Filipino family blog. I’m Cherry. Though most of the day I spend working on regulatory documents while running the laundry machine and letting the robot sweep down the house, the rest of the time I’m the driver, cook, coach and referree (and maybe also a loving mother) to our 3 lively boys. During weekends and vacations, and occassional evenings when my husband is not slaving away at his day-job, we get to welcome him to the chaos.

When time allows, I try to untangle my thoughts and write here. Sometimes, I get so inspired and submit to other blogs that have more fans.

While in Switzerland was created a while ago when I was trying to find my voice as a writer and my sanity as a mother. I’m still navigating my writing and still managing my sanity – but not always through this blog. Every now and then I publish a thought or two – depending on how much sleep I can spare. Most of the time though, I’m quite happy with my other life as a regulatory writer where I can hold on to rules to define the rest of my day. Mothering is hard as hell.
